We enter into formal service agreements with Nations and community-based organizations to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health and wellness services directly within the community. Our model prioritizes relationship-building, cultural safety, and long-term capacity development.

Clinical Counselling

Our clinical team travels to the Nation to provide services in-person, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. We work collaboratively with leadership and program managers to tailor services to identified community priorities.

Services are delivered using a trauma-informed, culturally grounded framework that recognizes the impacts of historical and intergenerational trauma.

Workshops & Psychoeducation

We provide customized workshops based on community needs. Topics may include:

  • Understanding trauma and intergenerational trauma
  • Lateral violence and community healing
  • Grief and complicated bereavement
  • Suicide awareness and prevention
  • Burnout and compassion fatigue
  • Parenting support and attachment
  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

Workshops are practical, strengths-based, and culturally responsive.

Training & Capacity Building

We offer structured training programs to strengthen internal capacity within Nations and organizations, including:

  • Trauma-informed practice for staff
  • Crisis response and de-escalation
  • Vicarious trauma and staff wellness
  • Leadership support in high-stress environments
  • Clinical consultation and case support
  • Program development consultation

 

Our approach supports sustainability by equipping local teams with tools and knowledge that extend beyond short-term service delivery.

Group programming integrates clinical expertise with respect for community traditions and cultural protocols.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused psychotherapy that helps process distressing memories to reduce their emotional impact.

Indigenous Focused Oriented Therapy (IFOT)

Therapeutic approach that combines focusing-oriented therapies with Indigenous knowledge and healing practices to heal trauma in a culturally safe and respectful way.

Somatic Therapy

Holistic approach that focuses on the connection between mind and body to support healing from trauma and stress, using mindful awareness, movement and breath.

Somatic Touch Therapy

A gentle, body-centred approach that uses therapeutic touch to support healing from trauma, stress and emotional pain, releasing tension and restoring balance.
