My Story

I am a non-Indigenous ally. I am a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people who are navigating trauma, grief, and loss as well as areas such as anxiety and depression. I work from a trauma-informed client-centered attachment lens aiming to create a safe place that is free from judgement for clients allowing them to be authentic and present. I believe that a safe and trusting relationship is necessary for people to be able to explore and grow. With your knowledge and wisdom of your life and experience, we will work together in a direction that feels best for you and for what you like to accomplish during our time together.

I have an eclectic and holistic approach to therapy, which allows me to integrate what will best serve the people I work with.

My approaches include somatic attachment, emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT), narrative therapy, mindfulness and grounding techniques, Polyvagal Theory, and solution-focused therapy.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We recognize that the land on which we gather is part of Turtle Island, situated within the territories of Treaties Four, Six, Seven, and Eight. This land has long been a sacred gathering place for many nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy—Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika—alongside the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney-Nakoda, Tsuu T'ina Nation, and the Métis Peoples who call this region home. The deep connection that the First Peoples have to this land teaches us our shared responsibility to protect and honor Mother Earth.Through this acknowledgment, we pay tribute to the ancestors, the children, and all those who rest here, as well as the missing and murdered Indigenous women and men. We recognize the ongoing journey of collective healing for all of humanity. We are reminded that all treaty people have a duty to one another. We stand in solidarity with those beside us, those forgotten, and those lost. We connect with Mother Earth for healing, guidance, and the teachings she offers.
